The vertical angles are equal to each other, that is, one of the one-sided corners will be 116°.

The sum of the one-sided angles is 180°, which means: 4x+116 = 180°

4x = 180-116 => 4x = 64°

x = 64/4 = 16°.

The sum of two adjacent angles is 180°. which means, that: 2x-3y = 180-64 = 116°

2x-3y = 116°

-2x+3y = -116

-32+3y = -116

3y = -116-(-32)

3y = -84

y = -84/3 => y = -28.

25 points for this please help with step by step
Svetllana [295]

a) 20.9

    The mean is calculated by adding up the scores and dividing the total by the number of scores, it is also called the average.

    First, we can count and see there are 11 players (makes sense for a football team). Adding up the ages gives us 19 + 19 + 20 + 20 + 20 + 21 + 22 + 22 + 22 + 22 + 23 = 230. Divide by 11 and we get a mean of of about 20.9!

b) 30

To figure this out, we will set up an equation that looks like this:

\frac{19 + 19 + 20 + 20 + 20 + 21 + 22 + 22 + 22 + 22 + 23+x}{12} =22

And now we will solve:

[multiply both sides by 12] 230 + x = 264

[subtract 130 from both sides] x = 30

So the age of the new player should be 30!

Have a nice day!

    I hope this is what you are looking for, but if not - comment! I will edit and update my answer accordingly. (ノ^∇^)

Find the circumference and the area of a circle with diameter equal to 8.6 inches. Use 3.14 for pi
mariarad [96]

Answer: Circumference of circle = 27.004 inches

              Area of circle = 58.0586 inches²

Step-by-step explanation:

Diameter of circle = 8.6 inches

Pi (\pi) = 3.14

Circumference of circle (With diameter) = \pi \\d (\pi×diameter)

                                                                = 3.14 × 8.6

                                                                = 27.004 inches

Area of circle (With diameter) = \pid^{2}/4

                                                 = 3.14 × 8.6 × 8.6 / 4

                                                 = 3.14 × 73.96 / 4

                                                 = 58.0586 inches²

Tema [17]

Answer:

Step-by-step explanation:

Upon factoring all terms we are left with the product of

[(x-4)(x+6)(x-6)]/[5(x-6)(3x+5)(x-4)]

The (x-4)s and (x-6)s cancel out and we are left with

(x+6)/(5(3x+5)) which is also equal to

(x+6)/(15x+25)
