Theseus was the son of King Aegeus and every year the king sent 7 maidens and 7 young men to King Minos as a sacrifice and Minotaur would eat them up. But then Theseus refused and promised his father that he would return victorious after killing Minotaur.
Minotaur was a strange creature who had the face like a bull and body of a man.
