Why were class differences more pronounced in the South than in other regions?
levacccp [35]

The correct answer is Option d) The population was mostly noblemen and indentured servants.

The South was made up of large farmland and plantations. The owners were white settlers and most of the labor consisted of black slaves which were imported from West Africa.

Slave trade gave these farm owners large profits, hence they save the end to slavery as an attack on their trade and way of life.

Answer:

John Cabot sailed the sea

His Italian name was Giovanni

He loved his son and King Henry

And sailed aboard the Matthew

On June 24, 1497

He saw some land that looked like heaven

Mistaking it for the Asians

He claimed the land for England

After John returned to England

He was very triumphant

He even asked for another voyage

Which was very courageous

For he didn’t know about his mysterious end

Yes yes yes yes that is true

He disappeared out of the blue

And no soul has ever lied

That no one knows how he died

Evaluate how successful the Marshall Plan and NATO were in stopping communist aggression/expansion in Europe during the Cold War
Andrew [12]
The Marshall Plan and the North Atlantic Treaty Organization were very successful in their attempts to stopping communist expansion in Europe. In the Marshall Plan, the US gave $13 billion worth of aid to countries in western Europe in order to help them recover from World War II and to ensure communism does not spread to these countries. All the countries helped through the Marshall Plan remained free of Soviet rule/influence.

NATO helped in stopping the spread of communism as well. This political/military alliance between the US, France, Great Britain, Italy, and other European countries ensured that the Soviet Union did not try to spread their power by force. If they tried to attack one of the nations involved in NATO, they would be starting a war with all the countries who were part of this organization. This prevented the Soviet's from trying to take over any member of NATO.
