Question: Why do people answer randomly and waste the person that asked the question's points?

--------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------

Answer: People do this for the want of points. People care so much about these points, that they don't even answer the question, and they just steal the points. Some people do it to troll, and some are bots that send links.

Answer:

I think most of the time it might be bots or the person might not know the answer and simply want the points, if you have a question I can take a look at it though.

erma4kov [3.2K]

Answer:

S(q)= 105

Step-by-step explanation:

Given

p =S(q) = 2q

Required

Calculate S(q) when p = 105

The given equation can be rewritten as:

S(q) = p

S(q) = 2q

p= 2q

Using: S(q) = p

Substitute 105 for p

S(q)= 105

A confidence interval for a population mean __________. A. Estimates a likely interval for a population mean B. Estimates likeli
lisov135 [29]

Answer:

Option A) Estimates a likely interval for a population mean is correct

Hence a confidence interval for a population mean is used to Estimates a likely interval for a population mean

Step-by-step explanation:

Given that a confidence interval for a population mean Estimates a likely interval for a population mean

For :

A confidence interval is a range of values that’s likely to include a population value with a certain degree of confidence.

It can be expressed as a the (percentage value) \% where by a population mean lies between an upper and lower interval.

Therefore a confidence interval for a population mean is used to Estimates a likely interval for a population mean

Option A) Estimates a likely interval for a population mean is correct

Hence a confidence interval for a population mean is used to Estimates a likely interval for a population mean

Debbie has $460 in a savings account that earns 8% annually. If the interest is not compounded, how much interest will she earn
mario62 [17]
She earned $184 in interest.

$644 in all.

Here's why:

The formula is interest = principal x rate x time.

i = 460 x 8% x 5 or i = 460 x 0.08 x 5.

PEMDAS

460(0.08) = 36.8

i = 36.8 x 5

36.8 x 5 = 184

i = $184

To find them in all, add the original amount she deposited with the interest.

460 + 184 = 644

In all: $644

Which graph models the solution set of 50x + 150y>1500?
hodyreva [135]

Answer:

see attached diagram

Step-by-step explanation:

First, draw the dashed line 50x+150y=1500 (dashed because the inequality is without notion "or equal to"). You can do it finding x and y intercepts.

When x=0, then 150y=1500, y=10.

When y=0, then 50x=1500, x=30.

Connect points (0,10) and (30,0) to get needed dashed line.

Then determine which region (semiplane) you have to choose. Note that origin's coordinates (0,0) do not satisfy the inequality 50x + 150y>1500, because

50\cdot 0+150\cdot 0=0

This means that origin lies outside the needed region, so you have to choose the semiplane that do not contain origin (see attached diagram).
