Five consequences of deforestation and forest degradation are global warming, which will warm the Earth, soil erosion, which will make it impossible to grow food, loss of biodiversity, flooding and bad air quality. Some of these consequences such as global warming will take a while to cause major damage, but flooding and loss of biodiversity is already happening.

Where does nad+ deliver electrons compared to fad in cellular respiration?
Anna71 [15]

Answer:

The correct answer would be "NADH delivers its electrons to complex I and FADH₂ deliver its electrons to complex II" in cellular respiration.

There are mainly four complexes associated with electron transport chain of cellular respiration.

Complex I or NADH: ubiquinone oxidoreductase is the complex at which NADH is oxidized to form NAD⁺. The free electrons are transported with the help of ubiquinone.

Complex II or succinate dehydrogenase is the complex associated with oxidation of FADH₂ to FAD⁺. It also transports the free electrons with the help of the ubiquinone pool.

Complex III or cytochrome bc1 complex transport free electrons from ubiquinone to the cytochrome C which is a water-soluble electron carrier.

Complex IV or cytochrome c oxidase transport the free electrons to oxygen to form water.

The diagram shows a reflex arc. Name parts P and Q shown on the diagram above.
Please help.
Makovka662 [10]

Answer:

P - synapse

Q - Relay neuron

Explanation:

A synapse, easy to remember as a neural junction, is the site where the transmission of electric impulses occurs. This occurs between two neurons or between a neuron and a gland or muscle cell. So in this scenario when we poke the finger it fires an electric nerve impulse that gets to the P spot that is a synapse and gets transmitted to the relay neuron. A relay neuron is there to receive the signal from one neuron and then transfer it to another interneuron resulting in the signal being received by a motor neuron so that we can react to the stimulus.

Stellar evolution is the life cycle of a star. A cycle suggests that upon death of a star, another star is born. How is this pos
ANTONII [103]
This is possible because when a star dies, it basically expands to its maximum (explodes). Therefore, the materials of the exploded star mix with the primeval hydrogen of the Universe. Later, other stars are formed out of this mixture. Thats also how the sun was formed. :)
