How did the role of religion differ between feudal Japan and feudal Europe
uysha [10]
That's an interesting question. Feudal Japan had a more formalized and ritualized kind of culture than feudal Europe did; elaborate rules of courtesy applied at all levels of society, whereas European peasants were pretty crude for the most part. In both societies there was a unifying religious principle, which in Europe was Christianity and the authority of the Church, and in Japan was shintoism and the authority of the Emperor. In both cases, a social hierarchy attempted, with considerable success, to control everyone's lives; everyone owed their fealty to someone, except for the kings in Europe or the Emperor in Japan, who didn't owe loyalty to anyone, since there was no higher authority (at least, not counting deities). Both societies had similar types of weaponry (European armor was considerably tougher) and skilled swordsmen were much to be feared and respected. In the lower classes, life was cheap. Neither society had any concept of human rights; only the nobility had rights.

In what ways did European colonists impact
networks, production and distribution?
kirill [66]

European goods, ideas, and diseases shaped the changing continent. As Europeans established their colonies, their societies also became segmented and divided along religious and racial lines. Most people in these societies were not free; they labored as servants or slaves, doing the work required to produce wealth for others.

How many Civil War battles did the Union side win?
Tasya [4]
One. The Battle of Antietam.

The reason I say one is because the Confederacy has better War Generals, they had a more experienced militia. That’s why they were undefeated for so long. But The battle of Antietam of 1862 was the battle the Union, the North, celebrated because of their first victory against the Confederacy, the South.

President Franklin Roosevelt MOST LIKELY supported Lawrence Camp in the Senate race against Walter George and Eugene Talmadge in
Yuliya22 [10]
Walter George and Eugene Talmadge were against Franklin Roosevelt's policies regarding new deal and by his reforms in general, and since they were influential in the congress they could pose a problem. He supported Lawrence Camp because Camp was a trusted man and would support FDR's policies and FDR could help elect him through his presidential influence.
