Answer:

The Whigs favored the interests of the common man; the Democrats favored business interests.

The Whigs were led by Henry Clay; the Democrats were led by Andrew Jackson.

Explanation:

The whigs was considered to be a very progressive party at that time.

They're founded by the oppositions of Andrew Jackson whose policies tend to conform to owners of large companies rather than to the common man.

For their programs, The whigs advocated for investing government funding into technologies and infrastructures (such as public education system, railroads, and banking system.) The democrat's on the other hand, advocated for  tge rights to own slaves in order to appeal to plantation owners.

In what year did Texas become a one-party Republican system, substantially changing Texas party politics
worty [1.4K]

Texas changed from a one party Democratic state to a one party Republican state with the 1980 presidential election of Ronald Reagan.

The Republican party developed dramatically in Texas during the Reconstruction Era, post constitutional amendments freeing the slaves giving suffrage to black males. After the Reconstruction Era, the Republican party of Texas gradually lost power and the Democrats passed disfranchising laws near the turn of the century requiring poll taxes be paid prior to voter registration, with parties establishing white primaries , black voting dropped.

As a result, the biggest base of electoral support for the Republican party in Texas was German Texan community. The first Republican statewide primary was held in 1926, but drew only 15, 239 voters as by the disfranchisement was well established and Texas was essentially a one- party state.

"Fathers" especially, encourage in children what they perceive to be gender-appropriate behaviors, fostering more independence, competitiveness, and aggression in sons and more emotional expressiveness and gentleness in daughters".

Many studies have shown that most fathers do more talking to their daughters and when it comes to actions and other activities they engage more with their sons, similarly mothers get more confidential and talk about emotions and relations to the daughters than the sons which make daughters more emotionally expressive and gentle
