Amount of O2 inhaled;
500 x 20.94% = 104.7mL

Amount of O2 exhaled;
500 x 16.37% = 81.85mL

Difference = 104.7 - 81.85 = 22.85mL

Hope i helped!

Which statement is one component of the cell theory?
Wittaler [7]

The options attached to the question above are given below:

A. All living and nonliving things consist of one or more cells.

B. Cells and living organisms are spontaneously created.

C. Cells are the most complex unit of structure and function in living things.

D. A cell is the basic unit of structure and function of all organisms

ANSWER

The correct option is D.

The cell theory is one of the major theories in biology and it states the facts about living cells. The theory states that, the cell is the most basic unit of all organisms and all living organisms are made up of one or more cells. The organisms that are made up of only one cell are described as unicellular while those that possess many cells are described as multi cellular. The theory also states that all cells come from pre-existing cells.

<h2>Importance of Archaea And Bacteria </h2>

Explanation:

  1. Microscopic organisms contain peptidoglycan in the cell divider.
  2. Archaea do not.Explain the explanation that the <em>two kinds, microbes and archaea</em>, have a similar essential structures, yet worked from various synthetic parts.
  3. The archaea and two microbes have cell films and the two of them contain a hydrophobic bit.
  4. The two microorganisms and archaea have a cell divider that ensures them. it is made out of peptidoglycan, though on account of archaea.
  5. The two microscopic organisms and archaea have diverse Ribosomal RNAs (rRNA).
  6. Archea have three RNA polymerases like eukaryotes, yet microorganisms have just one. Archaea have cell dividers that need peptidoglycan and have films that encase lipids with hydrocarbons as opposed to unsaturated fats.
  7. The two microscopic organisms and archaea have diverse Ribosomal RNAs (rRNA).

What moves lymph through the lymphatic system?
solong [7]

The lymph is moved through the body in its own vessels making a one-way journey from the interstitial spaces to the subclavian veins at the base of the neck. Since the lymphatic system does not have a heart to pump it, its upward movement depends on the motions of the muscle and joint pumps.

6. species Closely related of orchids never mate in the wild because they bloom at different times. This is an example of ______
Dimas [21]

Answer:

temporal reproductive isolation

Explanation:

The correct answer would be temporal reproductive isolation.

<u>Reproductive isolation</u> generally refers to series of biological mechanisms or processes that prevent members of different species from mating/fertilization or prevent the product of their mating to be invalid.

Some reproductive isolation processes prevent members of different species from mating or prevent fertilization as a result of mating. These processes are known as pre-zygotic reproductive isolation mechanisms.

Some other processes ensure that the product of fertilization (when it occurs) is invalid. These are known as post-zygotic isolation mechanisms.

<em>A good example of the pre-zygotic reproductive isolation process is </em><em>when closely related by different species bloom at different times</em><em>. This will prevent mating or cross-pollination to happen between the different species. This is known as temporal reproductive isolation.</em>
