Stars are classified based on the spectral type (i.e. a means to measure the photospheric temperature and density by getting information about the ionisation state).

Under the Morgan–Keenan (MK) system using the letters O, B, A, F, G, K, and M, a sequence from the hottest (O type) to the coolest (M type) (Harvard Spectral classification based on the surface temperature of the stars). A luminosity class is added to the spectral class using Roman numerals (Yerkes Spectral classification). This is based on the width of certain absorption lines in the star's spectrum (0 or Ia+ - hypergiants, I - supergiants, II - bright giants, III - regular giants, IV - sub-giants, V - main-sequence stars, sd - sub-dwarfs, and D - white dwarfs).

How do animals cause erosion.
Alexeev081 [22]

Answer:

Some animals weather rocks by scraping them as they feed. Other animals change Earth's surface by burrowing into it and moving material. Too many animals in one place can destroy most of the plants, leading to faster erosion.

If too many animals graze the same land area, the animals’ hooves pull plants out by their roots. A land is overgrazed if too many animals are living there. Grazing animals can cause erosion if they are allowed to overgraze and remove too much or all of the vegetation in a pasture.

Why do you think it is necessary to use very small and exact volumes of reagents in biotechnology? (someone please help me)
Akimi4 [234]
It is for the purpose of ensuring that the procedures are successful. Biotechnology is the use of biological processes, cells or cellular components and organisms to develop or make products, or "any technological application that uses biological systems, living organisms, or derivatives to make or modify products or processes for specific use.

Place the Polymerase Chain Reaction events listed below in the order in which they occur. - Double-stranded DNA is produced - DN
Contact [7]

Answer:

1- Test tube with DNA sample is placed in machine

2- DNA sample is heated

3- DNA denatures

4- Taq polymerase initiates DNA synthesis

5- Double-stranded DNA is produced

Explanation:

The Polymerase Chain Reaction (PCR) is a technique widely used in molecular biology laboratories in order to produce many copies of a specific DNA sample. Thermocyclers are machines designed for a cyclic temperature change of the PCR. First, an initial denaturation step where DNA sample is heated to separate the double-stranded DNA into two single strands. Subsequently, 20-40 PCR cycles are repeated to produce millions of copies of a specific DNA sequence. There are three steps in each PCR cycle: 1-Denaturation to 94–98 °C (DNA strands are separated), 2-Annealing to 50–67 °C (primers bind to each DNA strand on the opposite ends of the DNA strands to be copied) and 3-Extension to 75–80 °C (Taq polymerase initiates the synthesis of complementary DNA strands).
