Japan at the time was ruled by a militant leader, & the japanese have a very strong sense of pride, we not only dropped 1 but 2 because after dropping the 1st one they still were not ready to surrender.

Yes Because the Japs Had Used  Suicidal bombers to run towards the americans in the war and if we were to go over to japan we could of had more casualities
