30×·15=4.50

then subtract 30 by 4.50 to get 25.50

.0825×30=2.475

now add 2.475+25.50+30= 57.975 round to 57.98

kipiarov [429]
It's a 3rd degree polynomial judging by the shape.  Use the 3 factored zeros of x=-1,0,2 to get x(x+1)(x-2)
multiply this out to get
y=x^3-x^2-2x

8 home theaters are sold for each $ 500 spent on advertising

Advertising ($)     1,000 - $ 2,000 - $ 3,000

Home Theaters      16      -    32       -    48

16 home theaters are sold when the amount on advertising is $ 1,000

32 home theaters are sold when the amount on advertising is $ 2,000

48 home theaters are sold when the amount on advertising is $ 3,000

X would = The number of home theaters that are sold when the amout of advertising is $500

16/1,000 = x/500

1,000x = 500 *16

1,000x = 8,000

x = 8,000/1,000

Answer:

  D)  If Jack drives 200 miles, it will cost anywhere between $30 and $42

Step-by-step explanation:

The cost is said to be a range of possibilities. The first three answer choices seem to assume the cost is at one extreme or the other. They incorrectly interpret the statement of cost.
