Answer:

A cell finishing mitosis has 46 dna molecules, while a cell finishing dna replication has 92 dna molecules.

Explanation:

Diploid cell initiates mitosis with 46 DNA molecules and 4C DNA content (each chromosome is formed by two DNA molecules joined by the centromere). With mitosis finished, daughter cells also have 46 DNA molecules, but a DNA content of 2C.

Already in DNA replication each DNA molecule will give rise to another molecule identical to it, so that at the end of replication the human cell will have 92 DNA molecules, and within that number, 46 chromosomes contain two DNA molecules, the sister chromatids. These cells remain diploid (2n), but with twice as much DNA.

HURRY PLEASE!! Explain how the DNA molecule is stabilized but also able to be changed.
alexandr1967 [171]
The nitrogenous bases placed in between the DNA double helix strands, like rungs on a ladder, are positioned there because of the hydrophobic effect and are stabilized by hydrogen bonding. The stability of DNA also relies on the interactions between the hydrogen bonds between bases, hydrogen bonds between bases and surrounding water, and base interaction between neighboring bases.

Hydrogen bonds are able to stabilize the DNA double helix by pairing up with their complementary base pairs (guanine with cytosine and adenine with thymine)
