History
1 answer:

Answer:

Even though the Lusitania was sunk in 1915 and the U.S. only declared war in 1917, the sinking ensured that Americans already had a negative sentiment towards the Germans as 128 Americans died from the incident.

The Zimmerman telegram only made things worse.

The Zimmerman telegram was a message sent to Mexico telling the German Ambassador there to begin negotiations with Mexico such that if the U.S. did not maintain neutrality, Germany would support Mexico in a war against the U.S. so that they may regain the lands lost to the U.S. over the years.

This, in addition to Germany reinitiating unrestricted submarine warfare, led to most Americans calling for war. President Woodrow Wilson obliged and appeared before Congress after some weeks and asked it to declare war.

How did the Pacific Theater have lasting effects on nations following World War II? The backlash of America’s attempt to rebuild
blondinia [14]

Answer:

The conclusion of the Pacific Theater began the nuclear age and extended the US sphere of influence

Explanation:

After the war ended, thus the conclusion of the Pacific Theater came, the United States became the power that control this part of the world. The majority of this region was controlled by Japan, but once the US threw the atomic bombs on Hiroshima and Nagasaki, Japan surrendered, and all the territories cam under the control of the US. Considering that right after the World War II ended, the Cold War started, and every piece of the world was very important, the United States hold firmly onto this region. The benefits for the United States were great, as they controlled the largest body of water on the planet, blocked the Soviets from it which also meant securing their western border, and they were also able to use the natural resources that the region provided.

Summarize the events of World War II, exploring the causes and effects, the primary nations involved, and how it concluded. Also
Vesna [10]
The main cause of WWII is the same as that in the first world war, which was mainly allegiances; the Nazi party of Germany invaded Poland, which brought Britain into the war, and then continued to expand across Europe. The primary nations in the allied forces were: Great Britain, France, Poland, USA, Norway, Canada, the USSR, and Denmark, and the primary nations in the Axis Powers were: Germany, Italy, Romania, Bulgaria, and Japan. The main effect of the WWII was the Cold War, a period of about 50 years where the USA and USSR were making threats about nuclear war, as well as the destruction of most of Europe. Another effect was the prevention of Germany to control a Navy. The war ended on September 2nd, 1945, with the surrender of Japan and Germany earlier that year.

Explain the court packing scandal and how it affected the behavior of both the courts and the efforts of FDR
Andre45 [30]
Following the Supreme Court's decision on the AAA and NPR as unconstitutional, FDR attempted to add 2 more seats to the Supreme Court. Being there is no set number in the Constitution, FDR believed he had the right to add 2 more justices. Consequently, the additional seats would have gone to Democrats in favor of the New Deal legislation therefore overturning the blocks put into place. It was overwhelming viewed as an authoritarian move and criticize from all branches and both political parties. Being FDR would have to work within the system, he rewrote his New Deal policies to fit the standard of the Constitution and worked around the system to get his policies in place.
