3^{4m+4}+3^{4m}=246\\  (3^{4}+1)*3^{4m}=246\\82*3^{4m}=246\\3^{4m}=3\\m=\frac{1}{4}

You group them since they have the same base (3). (3^4+1)*3^4m since they have almost the similar characters (ex. 3^4(m+1) is 3^4m+4). In the brackets we get (81+1) since 3^4 is 81, then we do the sum in the brackets (81+1) is 82 multiplied by 3^4m. Then we divide both sides with /82. 82/82 is one, 256/82 is 3. Since 3^4m and 3^1 have the same bases we just use 4m=1 where we get that m is 1/4.

Susan divides the fraction 5/8 by 1/16 . Her friend Robyn divides 5/8 by 1/32 predict which person will get the greater quotient
MrRa [10]
So when you divide fractions, you keep the first fraction (in this case 5/8) then change the sign from divide to multiply, then flip the second fraction (we’ll use 1/16 first)

So 5/8 times 16/1. 80/8. Simply to 10.

Now do the same with 5/8 and 1/32

5/8 times 32/1. 160/8. Simplify to 20.

So I good prediction would be 1/32 since you have to flip the divisor and multiply.

Find m∠IUV if m∠TUI = 65° and m∠TUV = 147°
victus00 [196]

The measure of the m∠IUV using the addition postulate is equivalent to 82 degrees

<h3>Lines and angles</h3>

A line is defined as the shortest distance between two points while an angle is the point where two lines meet.

Given the following measure of angles

m∠TUI = 65° and

m∠TUV = 147°

Required angle

m∠IUV

Using the addition postulate below

m∠TUV = m∠TUI + m∠IUV

Substitute the given parameters

147 = 65 + m∠IUV

m∠IUV = 147 - 65

m∠IUV  = 82 degrees

Hence the measure of the m∠IUV using the addition postulate is equivalent to 82 degrees
