A bias in the interest group system that favors the wealthy is a criticism of b. pluralism. In pluralism a multitude of groups and not the people as a whole, govern the country. It is also called neo-pluralism which is biased towards corporate power. Neo-pluralism no longer sees the state as a relatively autonomous actor that forges and looks after its own interests.
