Answer:

First of all you will solve the two equations simultaneously to get the values of a and b after that you use it to find, 3^a /3^b

Step1. a+b=7..... (1)

a-b=3.......(2)

Now take eqn(1) +eqn(2),

Implies 2a=10

Dividing both sides by 2,

Then a=5

Put a=5 into eqn(1),

Implies 5+b=7

b=7-5

b=2

Therefore the values of a and b are 5 and 2

Step2

Now find 3^a/3^b,

Substitute the vaues of a and b into the function.

Implies 3^5/3^2=243/9

=27

Therefore 3^a/3^b=27

Answer: if 1 represents the game at the top and 7 the game at the bottom, the order is 1, 6, 5, 2, 3, 7, 4

Step-by-step explanation:

in a game where the expected value is zero, if your probability to win is p and the entry cost is C, then you should win an amount W =  C/p

then p = C/W

1) C = $5, W = $200

p = 5/200 = 0.025

2) C = $6, W = $300

p = 6/300 = 0.02

3) C = $9, W = $468

p = 9/468 = 0.019

4) C = $8, W = $440

´p = 8/440 = 0.0181

5) C = $7, W = $315

p = 7/315 = 0.0022

6) C = $4, W = $168

p= 4/168 = 0.024

7) C = $10, W = $540

p = 10/540 = 0.0185

Then the order, from least probability to greatest probability of winning is:

1, 6, 5, 2, 3, 7, 4

Find the angle between 450 and 630 that has the same sine as -60
Maksim231197 [3]

Answer:

The angle is of 600º.

Step-by-step explanation:

Angle of -60:

An anle of -60 is the same as an angle of -60 + 360 = 300º, which is in the fourth quadrant. In the fourth quadrant, just like in the third, the sine is negative.

Equivalent of an angle of 300º in the third quadrant:

The equivalent of an angle of 300º in the third quadrant(between 180 and 270) is given by: 270 - (300 - 270) = 270 - 30 = 240º. That is, they have the same sine.

Angle between 450 and 630:

This is on the second lap of the trigonometric circle, that is, we take the original measures and add 360º(length of a lap). So

240 + 360 = 600º

The angle is of 600º.

Consider the figure below where MN is parallel to PQ, angle PTS is equal to (19x +5) and angle NST is equal to (17x +15), determ
topjm [15]

From the figure shown where MN is parallel to PQ:

m<MSR   =  100°

m<STQ   =  80°

By carefully observing the figure shown:

<MSR is vertically opposite to <NST

Vertically opposite angles are equal

m<NST  =  (17x  +  15)

<NST is alternative to <PTS

Alternative angles are equal

Therefore, m<NST  =  m<PTS

m<NST = 17x + 15

m<PTS  =  19x + 5

17x  +  15   =  19x  +  5

19x  -  17x =  15  -  5

2x   =  10

x   =  10/2

x   =  5

m<NST  =  17x + 15

m<NST  =  17(5)  +  15

m<NST  =  100°

Since m<MSR  =  m<NST

m<MSR   =  100°

m<PTS  =  19x + 5

m<PTS  =  19(5)  +  5

m<PTS  =  100°

m<PTS  +  m<STQ  =  180° (Sum of angles on a straight line)

100   +  m<STQ   =  180

m<STQ   =  180 - 100

m<STQ   =  80°

From the figure shown where MN is parallel to PQ:

m<MSR   =  100°

m<STQ   =  80°

At a dog competition, a dog is awarded 10 points if it runs through 4 pipes, makes 10 jumps, and walks on 2 beams. If Roofy gets
choli [55]

Answer:

Butch should be awarded with 9,2 points

Step-by-step explanation:

Roofy gets 9 points out of 10 missing only a pipe, that means that each pipe is awarded with 1 point

Ralph gets 7 points out of 10 missing one pipe ( 1 point ) and 2 points missing a beam

So points are awarded as follows

1 point by pipe              then 4 points   for    4 pipes

2 points by beam         then  4 points  for     2 beams

We just have 2 points to award 10 jumps then each jump is awarded by 0,2 points

Finally as Butch missed 4 jumps, Butch should be awarded with 9,2 points
