20000= 100%

u need to find 1% first

that is 20000 : 100 = 200 people

40% = 200 × 40 = 8000 people accepted

now 8000 : 100 = 80 (that's 1%)

25 × 80 = 2000 people enrolled

i think it's correct!!

Ben thinks that the slope ratio for this triangle is 7/10. Carlissa thinks the ratio is 10/7 Who is correct? Explain your thinki
Alekssandra [29.7K]

Answer:

Both answers are correct, depending on the angle taken as reference

Step-by-step explanation:

we know that

In a right triangle

The slope ratio of the triangle is equal to the function tangent

The function tangent in a right triangle is equal to the opposite side to the angle divided by the adjacent side to the angle

so

tan(35)=\frac{7}{10} -----> Ben's ratio

and

tan(55)=\frac{10}{7} ------> Carlissa's ratio

therefore

The slope will depend on the angle taken as a reference

so

Both answers are correct, depending on the angle taken as reference.
