Frick and Company, coke manufacturing organization and was administrator of the Carnegie Steel Company. Frick was known for his hostility towards union approach. Emma Goldman was a anarchist known for her political activism, essays, and lectures. She tried to kill Frick, an activity she expected would rouse the laborers to rebel against the capitalist system.
