To demonstrate sensitivity and professionalism to support these patients one should first establish trust in order to have a smooth interaction. Another would be the medical assistant should be specific about asking questions on the problem and should also explain what is incontinence and that can be improve by bladder or bowel training, proper nutrition and medications.
