What moves lymph through the lymphatic system?
solong [7]

The lymph is moved through the body in its own vessels making a one-way journey from the interstitial spaces to the subclavian veins at the base of the neck. Since the lymphatic system does not have a heart to pump it, its upward movement depends on the motions of the muscle and joint pumps.

What is the process by which a cell duplicates its chromosomes and splits into two cells?
Lesechka [4]
Cell division. The whole process involves 3 main stages namely interphase, mitosis and cytokinesis.It would, however be wrong to say that its mitosis only because mitosis does not involve the duplication of chromosomes. Duplication of chromosomes occur during the interphase while the splitting of cells occur during Telophase of mitosis and Cytokinesis. Therefore, answer to this has to be generalised to be just cell division.

Which cell division, mitosis or meiosis, does fertilization? Explain what fertilization is.
Firlakuza [10]

This is kinda a weird question for me to answer... BUT.... lol

I think it is Meiosis, which occurs over two cycles of cell division, which sperm cells complete before fertilization. It also is the process that creates gametes -- sperm and egg cells -- containing only one, or a haploid, set of chromosomes.

And fertilization is the action or process of fertilizing an egg, female animal, or plant, involving the fusion of male and female gametes to form a zygote... OR

it could be the action or process of applying a fertilizer to soil or land.

Hope this helps. c;
