I think the theme for this one man vs self. The story started when Randal decided to hike the woods by himself but then he got lost. Randall had tried to fight himself from the loneliness and fear that he was feeling. He was about to surrender when he saw an eagle passed by, he was having an internal battle whether he should follow the eagle or not.  He followed his instinct and eventually he was able to get  back to his family.

But it is necessary to make sure that a paragraph concentrates on a single topic and not talk of multiple issues/ topics in a single paragraph. Rather, if one point is made in a particular paragraph and another point taken in another paragraph, it will make it easier and more understandable for the readers to get to know the main point of the whole work/ paper.
