Microsoft wanted to increase the average length of time consumers spend playing their games during a gaming session. They found
out that one of the main reasons consumers stop playing is because they are too tired and need to sleep. Microsoft was wondering if they could make people play longer by shipping each of their games with a 24 pack of Monster energy drink. If the average amount of time players spent playing their games with the energy drink was greater than 5 hours, they start shipping all games with this drink. They randomly sampled 50 players and recorded the length of time they spent playing after receiving the drink. Were all of the necessary assumptions/conditions met in this study
In this question, the answer is "yes" because as the sample group of 50, it is now under the population size of 10 percent, and Often the random sample is less than 30. It doesn't require the standard deviation, and for each of the samples it was selected randomly, therefore randomization becomes achieved.
