Answer:

In terms of money I would say,

cycling: Advantage- Doesn't have to pay for classes necessarily, therefore saving money every month or so.

Disadvantage- Will have to invest in buying a bike if they don't have one initially.

Running: Advantage- Very cheap, barely needs any equipment if they don't want to invest in high quality gear e.g running shoes, running clothing

Disadvantage- (Not so sure on this one) Maybe because it's quite tiring?

Explanation:

Just carry on with the idea of money and how costly you think each one would be and how effective it is in the fittest side of things.

"He grew slightly pale, for this was exactly the amount he had been saving for a gun, intending to get a little shooting next su
Inessa [10]

Answer:

The author's intention in describing how Monsieur Loisel planned to spend his savings is to show that he is frugal and faithfully saves for something he wants.

Explanation:

Option A fits the author's intention because of the following reasons.

1. At the beginning of the excerpt, the author pointers out that Monsieur Loisel got slightly pale and he was making savings to purchase a gun; This can be summarised as being frugal (sparing or economical as regards money or food). Being pale, as used in this excerpt is as a result of depriving himself of good food.

2. The author also pointed out that he planned to shoot with some friends on a certain day; This illustrates his willingness to buy whatever he wants.

What is the similarity between the opening line of the odyssey and the opening line of the iliad
weqwewe [10]

Answer:

There is a similarity between the opening line of “The Odyssey” and the opening line of “The Iliad.”

Explanation:

This is because “The Odyssey" and "The Iliad" are related to each other based on their overall construction. Homer penned down both these poems. He wrote them from the point of view of a third person omniscient and in the same narrative format. The stories narrated through the stanzas highlight the tales of human weaknesses, heroic deeds and the connection between human beings and supernatural forces, for example the Greek gods .
