Division.
Example :
2/4....." / " is not just a fraction bar, it is a division sign.
simple type in 2 divided by 4 in ur calculator.....it comes up 0.5
or do long division :

4 | 2.0
The answer would be 5227. If you subtract what is in parenthesis first and then multiply it that should be your answer.
