Bonds are considered very low risk for the very simple reason that they are backed by the power of the credit of the United States.

So, the only REAL risk for investors is that the United States default on its debts, that is, that they don't pay their debts. This could happen if all foreign owned debts are called in at once.

Which of the following best describes the difference between individual and public goods
kozerog [31]

The correct answer is: Option B.

People cannot be excluded from using public kids while they can be excluded from using individual goods.

A Public good can be used by everyone without exclusion or rivarly. For example: my consumption of a public good would never affect other people's consumption. Going for a ride in a public park would exemplify it perfectly. If I go for a ride in a public park would not affect the the right of another person to do the same thing. In the other hand, a private good is reserved for the consumer individually, it is excludable because it can restrict another consumers from using it, for several reasons as payment exchange,  and it is rival due to limited quantity. Example: not everyone can buy a car due its price. Some people can do it, other people cannot, due to their purchasing power. If a car company of a certain brand manufactures a limited quantity of cars, not everyone could buy it for there would not be enough cars for a massive demand. That defines the rivalry.

Items that save you money by allowing you to pay a relatively low price for a good or service include _____ .
Jobisdone [24]

The correct answer is coupons and comparative shopping.

Coupons are commodities that give consumers a saving on the purchase of an item(s) at particular stores. These coupons help individuals to save money. Comparative shopping works in a similar way. However, instead of having a physical coupon to show, consumers can compare prices of goods from different stores using resources like newspaper advertisements or online databases.

Opportunity costs and marginal benefits have nothing to do with saving money. Rather, these deal with other economic principles like choosing between different options and the additional satisfication that a person gets from consuming more of a good.

What are coping strategies?
liraira [26]

Answer:

Things you use to deal with stress and challenges

in a positive way

The word strategy when referring to coping suggests that there is a known procedure a person has in place in order to cope. I'm unsure of what this person may be coping with specifically, but since this is social science I'm assuming it's mental health related. Thus, this tied in with the stress part of the answer. A few examples could be cleaning the house, reading, playing an instrument, counting to 10 or, commonly used, proper breathing technique (deep breath in through the nose, hold and out through the mouth). Hope this helps
