How many eggs does a chicken lay per day? I am starting an allotment with my uncle. He claims that a vet has been giving him inf

ormation about keeping chickens, but he's also a habitual liar. Anyway, I had read that chickens lay only one egg per day. My uncle says that one chicken can lay up to eight. Can anyone not only answer this question, but provide sources as proof so that I have evidence to show him? Thanks.

Put the following steps of bacterial specimen preparation and staining in order: a. fixation b. application of staining dyes c.
Inga [223]

Answer:

c. smear preparation

a. fixation

b. application of staining dyes

Explanation:

In the bacterial specimen preparation and staining order, the first step would be Smear preparation in which the smear of bacteria is formed on the slide.

Then the bacterial smear is heat-fixed so that the smear does not get washed off during the washing process in the staining procedure. After heat fixing the bacterial smear, the dyes are applied to the bacterial smear to stain the bacterial cells.

Therefore the correct order is-

c. smear preparation

a. fixation

b. application of staining dyes

One function of the poly-A tail on eukaryotic MRNA sequences is to help the MRNA be transported from the nucleus to the cytoplas
Alinara [238K]

Answer:

In eukaryotes, it is well known that polyadenylation is required to produce the mature messenger RNA (mRNA) molecule and it provides stability to the mRNA during translation initiation. In prokaryotic organisms, polyadenylation is required for the degradation of the mRNA in a mechanism that involves three steps: endonucleolytic cleavage, polyadenylation and exonucleolytic degradation. Moreover, it is also important to note that no evidence of polyadenylation has bee reported in some prokaryotes including the halophilic bacteria Haloferax volcanic (Slomovic et al. 2005).

notsponge [240]

The correct answer is (b) arctic fox

The arctic fox shows two color of fur depending upon the season. During summer and spring season the fox has dark colored coat .It does so to match the color of the brown dirt in the surrounding.
