The answer is 2(2y + 1)/(x+y) (x - y)
You want to find the least common denominator which is (x + y) (x - y). The ones that are missing a part of the lcd is 2/x-y and -2/x+y. Next you multiply them by the missing terms for example 2/x-y will become 2(x + y)/ (x - y) (x + y). After you do the same to the last part of the equation you simply the numerators. Hopefully I explained this good enough if not just let me know!

viktelen [127]

Answer:

x=9

Step-by-step explanation:

-5 square root x =-2+3

5x=4x^2 −12x+9

Simplify  25x-4{x}^{2}+12x-925x−4x 2 +12x−9  to  37x-4{x}^{2}-937x−4x 2-9

then...

(4x−1)(x−9)=0

x=1/4,9
