Nationalism can be defined as a belief that national interests as a whole should be more important than what one region wants or the interests of other countries.
The aforementioned belief is a foreign policy based on the principles of "Nationalism" and it was established by the former Secretary of State and 6th President of the United States of America known as John Quincy Adams.
In his inaugural speech, he promised the people of the United States of America that he would be upright and have a pure intention, as well as being devoted to the welfare of the country at large.
