In horses, the allele for straight hair (H) is dominant, and the allele for curly hair (h) is recessive. A horse breeder mates a

Answer: The correct answer is -

The chance that the offspring will have straight hair is 100%

Explanation:

As per the given information in the question, straight hair (H) is a dominant trait over curly hair (h) which is a recessive trait.

Dominant trait masks the expression of recessive trait.

Straight hair can have two genotypes that are HH and Hh, whereas recessive trait that is curly hair will only be expressed when present in 'hh' genotype (Homozygous recessive).

Genotype of parents are-

Mother- HH (homozygous dominant)

Father - Hh (heterozygous dominant).

When they are crossed, they will result into following offspring-

HH X Hh

=HH, Hh, HH, Hh

This indicates that all the offspring will be produced with straight hairs.

Thus, there is 100% chance of getting offspring with straight hairs.

It would be 75% because that is 3/4, the chances of dominant offspring.

How does the Earth-
sun-moon system
affect life on Earth?
klemol [59]

Answer:

Hello!!! Princess Sakura here ^^

Explanation:

The sun, earth, and moon are held together by gravity, and they interact in lots of ways. The moon orbits the earth because of the pull of the earth. The tides are another interaction in the sun, earth, and the moon system. The tides happen because the moon and sun pull on the oceans, causing them to rise and fall each day.

What 3 molecules that aren't DNA helps us learn about evolution?
max2010maxim [7]
We know, DNA is the main molecule by which scientists can learn about evolution by comparing the DNA structure between two different organisms.
But, in addition to DNA (which is most helpful & important) still, there are 3 molecules that can help us, They are:

1) RNA : - It is found in cytoplasm, as DNA transfers it's codes into RNA during Central dogma, it can help us in evolution studies.

2) Proteins: - Another helpful feature, into which RNA transforms in Central Dogma.

3) Pseudogenes: - It is also known as "Non-coding DNA" It is extra DNA in a genome that do not get transcribed into RNA to synthesize proteins. They can also help us in Evolutionary studies.

Hope this helps!
