8x−6y=1 what is the slope of the line

Mathematics

6 0

Answer:

m = 4/3

Step-by-step explanation:

Two ways to do this problem.

Method 1   change the                          Method 2   If a linear equation is in

equation to slope-intercept form            standard form, ax =by = c then

8x - 6y = 1                                                  the slope = -a/b

-6y = -8x + 1                                                 In 8x - 6y = 1  a = 8 and b = -6

y = (-8x)/-6 +1/-6                                          So m = - (8)/-6 = 8/6 = 4/3

m = -8/-6= 4/3

Note:  Method 2 only works if the equation is in standard form.

It's C. The congruence statement tells you what parts of rhe polygon are congruent to each other, so basically which will have the same measure. In the statement, you can tell that PS is congruent to JL because theyre in the same "positions", just on opposite sides of the equal sign.
