In 1873 Congress had established the Coinage Act of 1873 (or Mint Act of 1873)
which was a general revision of a law that led to the discontinuation of the minting of silver dollars. It was later
denounced and referred to as Crime of ’73
by the people who wanted inflation. </span>
<span>Direct democracy and education were
related in Athens through the following scenarios:
1. Athenian boys were educated to become active citizens with skills to take
part in a democratic government. </span>
<span>2. Women
had no political power, so education was for girls.</span>

There was supposedly a prophecy at the time stating that whoever could untie this immensely complicated knot that tied the king's horse yolk to his chariot would rule over Persia. When Alexander saw the knot he sliced it in two with his sword instead of trying to untie it. I'm pretty sure Darius (or whatever his name was)
