The two ways that the idea of total war was used in World War 1 include the following:
1. Government equipped, transported, and supported millions on troops.
2. Government borrow supplies from neutral nations to draw them into war.
Total war refers to a war that is fought with all the resources that a country has in its disposal and one which concerns all the citizens of the country both military and civilians. The World War 1 was a total war, it possesses all the characteristics of total war such as: mobilization of all resources and population towards war efforts, prioritization of production of materials needed for war, for instance ammunition and weapons, increase in tax to support war efforts, borrowing from neutral nations, etc. <span />
Ahhh I remember this from 8th grade! Alright the Philippines was already trying to break free from another occupied force in the Philippines and so when they teamed up w America, the Americans say they will but never explained that when they do help they will take over, so when the American force helped the force that was trying to get rid of the occupied force, the Americans occupied it. The Anti imperialist argued that its their land and rightfully so but u see America was on a race with England to gain more land, but still America gain control of Philippines, while the anti imperialists fought, the American soldiers not only fought but raped women as well.
