How does lauren most likely feel when she hears that she and her family are moving

English
2 answers:
marishachu [46]3 years ago
5 0

Answer:

First, shocked. Then skeptical, primarily sad, angry, and then scared.

Explanation:

She'll probably be really shocked. She'd question if her parents were really serious, and deny it. When it actually hits her, the sadness flows in, and the anger slowly moves its way in. Whether she expresses it or not, she'll most likely run to her room or stand there quiet as a mouse. She'll most likely be worried about leaving her friends, and having to make new friends.

This is an example of a simile, a comparison between two things using the words "like" or "as." "Gloomy as the night" is the simile here, since his sadness is being compared to nighttime.
