Given the following diagram, find the missing measure. G
jonny [76]

The Given Triangle PMO is a Right Angled Triangle with m∠M = 90°

Given m∠P = 40°

We know that : Sum of Angles in a Triangle = 180°

⇒ m∠P + m∠M  + m∠O = 180°

⇒ 40° + 90° + m∠O = 180°

⇒ 130° + m∠O = 180°

⇒ m∠O = 180° - 130°

⇒ m∠O = 50°

We can notice that m∠O and m∠1 form a Linear Pair (180°)

⇒ m∠O + m∠1 = 180°

⇒ 50° + m∠1 = 180°

⇒ m∠1 = 180° - 50°

⇒ m∠1 = 130°

What does this equal?? Order of operations with integers
wolverine [178]
Follow the order of operations. PEMDAS. Parenthesis, Exponents, Multiplication, Division, Addition, and Subtraction. Let's start with parenthesis. First we so everything inside the parenthesis. So the first thing we do, is exponents, 2 x 2 = 4. Now the top equation is 3 x 4 - 23. Next thing in the order of operations, is Multiplication. So now we do 3 x 4. Which equals 12. Now the top equation is 10 - 12 - 23. Now we do Subtraction in order. First 10 - 12 = negative 2 (-2) Then we do -2 - 23 which equals negative 25 (-25). Now let's work on the bottom equation. Once again follow the order of operations. We do the exponents in the parenthesis first. 10 x 10 = 100. Then do the rest in the parenthesis, 1 + 100 = 101. Now the exponents in the outside of the parenthesis. - 2 x - 2 = 4. And 5 x 5 = 25. Then we do Multiplication, 4 x 25, which equals 100. Then we do 101 - 100 = 1. Then we reduce the fraction. -25/1 = -25. Therefore the answer to your problem is -25. I apologize for taking so long to write this. Hope this helps though!

the base of the founten is rectangular . its dimention 1 2/3 feet by 2 2/3 feet . what is the area of the base of the founten
Montano1993 [528]
The area of a rectangle is calculated by multiplying the length of the rectangle and the width of the rectangle. In this case, the length (the longer side) is 2 2/3 feet while the width (shorter side) is 1 2/3 feet. To multiply fraction, first convert mixed numbers into improper fractions:

2 2/3 = 8/3
1 2/3 = 5/3
Multiplying the two fractions yield:
8/3 x 5/3 = 40/9 ft2

The final answer is 40/9 ft2 or 4 4/9 ft2.

Please answer I keep wasting my points and getting ignored
Anna11 [10]

Answer:

205 square ft

Step-by-step explanation:

1. Since his room is 12ft by 15.75ft, we can multiply to find the square ft needed to cover his room.

2. Since his closet is 2ft by 8ft, we can multiply to find the square ft needed to cover his closet.

3. Then, we add them to find how much carpeting is needed total.

4. (12*15.75)+(2*8)=189+16=205
