I'm not funny but I'll tell you about one embarrassing moment I had in middle school.

I was at the school gym and I was to be using the treadmill. I left my treadmill to go grab a bottle of water and I came back heading over to my treadmill. I didn't see the ground until I noticed that I stepped on somebody else's treadmill that was going at full speed.

I fell and fell and I couldn't use my hands to stand up because the treadmill kept moving. It was started to hurt because I was getting burns from my hands, arms, and face.

The coaches tried to grab me and I could hear people laughing.

My friends told me I looked like a stray dog that was going to be ran over...yeah.

The next day some boys picked at me the other day.

The worst day of my life.

Find the y value for the point that divides the line segment CD into a ratio of 4:1.
7nadin3 [17]

Answer:

We also drew a graph with 2 examples.

Step-by-step explanation:

If we have the line segment  CD, we can divide it by 4: 1 as follows:

If point C has the coordinates (x1, z1) and point D has the coordinates (x2, z2), we calculate coordinate the points Y as follows:

y1 = (x2-x1) · 4/5

y2 = (z2-z1) · 4/5

In this way we have obtained the point Y with the coordinates (y1, y2), and the point Y divides the line segment  CD by 4:1.

We also drew a graph with 2 examples.
