Ok so the first thing to do would be get rid of the fraction. To do that multiply the ENTIRE equation but the denominator. Once all the numbers are multiplyed I think it’ll be easier for u to solve them :) or if u wanna solve them quick, download Photomath :)

Laurie bought 4 yards of brown braid trim, 7 yards of black lace, and 13 yards of gold ribbon. She paid $2.40 for each yard of r
Elza [17]

Answer:

24 yards, $77.40

Step-by-step explanation:

1) brown braid : 4*2.40 = $16.80

black lace : 7*2.40 = $29.40

gold ribbon : 13*2.40 = $31.20

2) 4 + 7 + 13 = 24 yards <

3) 16.80 + 29.40 + 31.20 = $77.40 <

Which equation represents the line that passes through the points (6,-3) and (-4,-9)?
Citrus2011 [14]
I will give in y=mx+b and ax+by=c form

using point slope form
y-y1=m(x-x1)
where the slope is m and a point on that line is (x1,y1)

slope between 2 points (x1,y1) and (x2,y2) is (y2-y1)/(x1-x1)

given
(6,-3) and (-4,-9)
slope=(-9-(-3))/(-4-6)=(-9+3)/(-10)=-6/-10=3/5
a point is (6,-3)

y-(-3)=3/5(x-6)
y+3=3/5(x-6)
y+3=3/5x-18/5
y=3/5x-33/5
-3/5x+y=-33/5
3x-5y=33

equation is
y=3/5x-33 or
3x-5y=33 or
y+3=3/5(x-6) or
y+9=3/5(x+4)
