The accurate term nowadays is climate change. And the effects are astronomical in some areas to minor in others but generally ecosystems are beginning to be distorted and damaged. There is a greater level of natural disasters, increased likelihood of drought, famine, and etc. Ecosystems which depends on certain temperatures are being affected.
