the pencil sharpener on kay desk has a diameter of 3.4 cm and is 7 cm tall. Calulate the surface area
erica [24]

Answer:

92.9 cm squared

Explanation:

The surface area of a cylinder is denoted by: A=2\pi r^2+2\pi rh, where r is the radius and h is the height.

Here, we know the diameter is 3.4 cm, so the radius, which is half the diameter, is r = 3.4 / 2 = 1.7 cm. The height is 7. Plug these in:

A=2\pi r^2+2\pi rh

A=2\pi *1.7^2+2\pi *1.7*7=29.58\pi

29.58π ≈ 92.9 cm squared

Anvisha [2.4K]
I don't think the Southerners would agree with this because their race has undergone so much discrimination all throughout the years.  What they have now is something they have struggled for from their forefathers, and that makes them proud.  Even if there is a threat from any government agency, I think they already proved that they know how to stand for themselves

While hunter-gatherers ate wild grains that they collected, early farmers saved some of the grains to plant.
