Answer:

the answer is d, sorry for the late answer, I just saw this

Step-by-step explanation:

ok so finding the volume of a prism, the formula for that is <em>volume</em><em>=</em><em> </em><em>base</em><em> </em><em>area</em><em> </em><em>*</em><em> </em><em>height</em> or v=b*h

when I saw this problem I realized that I had to find the base area, in this case it's a hexagon. The formula for a regular polygon is <em>A</em><em>=</em><em> </em><em>1</em><em>/</em><em>2</em><em> </em><em>p</em><em>*</em><em>a</em><em> </em>p is perimeter and a is the apothem.

- I suggest you write those formulas down if you have trouble memorizing them.

So now time for the math!!!

so the perimeter of the hexagon is simply

7 \times 6 = 42

and the apothem is the perpendicular line so now simply plug those in to the polygon formula and you get...

42 \times 8.1 = 340.2

340.2 \div 2 = 170.1

now that you have the base area, simply plug in the height and area into the volume of a prism formula, and you get

170.1 \times 21 = 3572.1m ^{3}

- I really hope this helps, I'm not the best at math and when I don't understand something it really stresses me out so pls ask questions if you have them :)

Emily wants to have her resume printed. The printing company charges $24.50 for the first 100 resumes, and then a flat rate for
stira [4]

The total number of resumes Emily prints = 300

She pays $24.50 for the first hundred resumes. Therefore, number of resumes that remain = 300-100= 200 resumes

\Now she pays a flat rate for each additional 100 resumes.

She pay a total of 48.50 for total of 300 resumes. Since she pays 24.50 for the first 100, the amount the remains = 48.50 =24.50 = $24

Therefore, she pays 24 for 2 sets of 100 resumes

Therefore the flat rate after the first 100 resumes = 24/2 = $12

Please help me with this math problem I don’t know it I need to pass this class !!!!!!
Alisiya [41]

The correct option is Option 4: 2a^2b^3 + 10ab^4

Step-by-step explanation:

Given

Length of box = l = ab

Width of box = w = a+5b

Height of box = h = 2b^2

The volume of a box is given by:

V = Length*Width*Height\\V = l*w*h

Putting the values

V = (ab)(a+5b)(2b^2)\\ = (ab)(2b^2)(a+5b)\\=(2ab^3)(a+5b)\\Distributive property\\=(2ab^3*a) + (2ab^3*5b)\\=2a^2b^3 + 10ab^4

Hence,

The correct option is Option 4: 2a^2b^3 + 10ab^4
