sin 40°= x/9
multiply both sides of this by 9 to remove the 9 in the side we have x, we will have
sin 40°/9=x
sin° 40 =0.7451
so x= 0.7451/9
which is
x= 0.0827888888
to give it in 3 decimal places, the answer will be 0.083 since 7 is the fourth number and is more than five, we add 1 to the 2 making it 3
