viva [34]
1/3 of 45 is 15, meaning 15 students gave their speech on day 1

Today 2/5 of the remaining students gave their speech. That’s 12 more

So a total of 27 students gave their speeches. That means 18 students remain. The answer is 18

State if the pair of triangles are similar. If so, state how you know they are similar and
RideAnS [48]
They can’t be similar. Similar triangles have congruent corresponding angles, and two angles are given on each. Neither of those correspond to another on the opposite triangle. Basically, there’s no way to have three congruent angles, so they aren’t similar.

PLZ I'M BEING TIMED Which equation could have been used to create this table?
Talja [164]

Answer:

y=6x

Step-by-step explanation:

Let us assume the table is the one shown in the attachment.

We can observe the following pattern from the table:

12=6*2

24=6*4

36=6*6

60=6*10

76=6*12

Hence in general

y=6*x

Therefore the equation that could have been used to create this table is

y=6x

Reduce to simplest form. - 3/5 + 1/3
Pani-rosa [81]

Answer: -4/15

Step-by-step explanation: To add these two fractions together,

we start by finding their Least Common Denominator (LCD).

Since our denominators of 5 and 3 have no factors in common,

our least common denominator is 5 · 3 or 15.

In order to get a denominator of 15 in each fraction,

we multiply top and bottom of the first fraction by 3

and top and bottom of the second fraction by 5.

That gives us -9/15 + 5/15 which simplifies to -4/15.

As your last step, make sure that the fraction

that you end up with doesn't reduce.

In this case, -4/15 does not reduce but watch out for this last step.
