Answer:

9(4a+1)=

10(4+5d)=

7(4-f)=

Step-By-Step Solution:

The greatest common factor is the largest number that both numbers can be divided by. For example, in #1, 36 and 9 can both be divided by 9 to become 4 and 1.

For one month Siera calculated her home town's average high temperature in degrees Fahrenheit. She wants to convert that tempera
Lana71 [14]

We have to find how can someone convert the temperature from degrees Farhenheit to degrees Celsius using the function. The temperature in degrees Celsius is equal to the temperature in degrees Farhenheit minus 32 times 5/9. Or C ( F ) = ( F - 32 ) * 5/9. For example: the temperature is F = 50°; C ( 50 ) = ( 50 - 32 ) * 5/9 = 18 * 5/ 9 = 10 °C. Answer: The function is: C ( F ) = ( F - 32 ) * 5/9.

Hope this helped.

The temperature is 45°F. The temperature will decrease by 2°F each hour. Let h be the number of hours.
Varvara68 [4.7K]
45 - 2t < 32 ( where t is time and you can replace it with x or h if you prefer)
Solving for t you get:
45 - 2t - 32 < 0
45 - 32 < 2t
13 < 2t
13/2 < t
Or the temperature will drop below 32F after 6 and a half hours

HELP!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
solong [7]

Answer:

y = -1/2x+4

Step-by-step explanation:

y = 2x-1

This equation is in slope intercept form  y = mx+b  where m is the slope

m=2

A line perpendicular will have a slope that is the negative reciprocal

m = -1/2

Using the slope intercept form

y = mx+b

y = -1/2x+b

and the point given (2,3)

3 = -1/2(2)+b

3 = -1+b

4 =b

y = -1/2x+4  is the equation of a line that is perpendicular to the original line and contains (2,3)

PLEASE HELP!!
TEA [102]
1. The function of this graph is f(x) = 0.5x + -2
Plug (-2) into the x variables so it looks like:
f(-2) = 0.5 (-2) + -2
Then solve.
Answer: f(-2) = -3
**I'm not as sure about this one, so I might be wrong

2.
For #8, the y-intercept is 4 (you're right) and it represents the initial distance before she started hiking (D)
I tried to figure #9 out, but I couldn't find the answer. I came across a website that might help though: https://sciencing.com/determine-practical-domain-range-10052000.html
**I can't see #s 6 or 7
