Why did political parties arise in the 1790s?

The political parties arose in 1790s because of disagreement over three main issues which was the nature of the government, the economy, and foreign policy.

Conservative and Unionist Party, Labour Party Co-operative Party, Scottish National Party, and Liberal Democrats.
