The Pueblo organized small rebellions against the Spanish but in 1680 almost all Pueblo came together to rebel against the Spanish. The Spanish were violently attacked and forced to leave the area. The revolt push the Spanish out of the area and allowed the Pueblo to live freely until 1692.
