2x+3y=170.......1

1x+5y=225.......2

multiplying equation 2 by 2 and subtracting eq.1 &2

2x+3y-2x-10x=170-225

-7x=-55

x=55/7

55/7+5y=225

5y=225-55/7

y=1520/(7×5)=304/7
