In the slave ships, most died from bad living conditions and <u>disease, as well as starvation, and/or dehydration.</u>

<em>Explanation:</em>

The living conditions onboard slave ships were horrific. They were cramped, in dark rooms with little food or water. They weren't allowed outside often, and they didn't have access to windows or a bathroom. Many died on the way to America/the Caribbean where they ended up working on plantations.
