Total surface Area of a cube is 6s².

Therefore, given a volume of 27cm³

s³=27,

s=3√27

s=3cm.

Total surface Area

A=6s²

A=6×(3×3)

A=6×9

A=54cm².

The answer to this is letter C: <em>This equation is an example of converting by using proportion.</em> The proportion used here is the measurement of something in inches to the measurement of something in ft. The ratio would always be constant, hence, the equality sign.
