Answer:

See explanation for answer.

Explanation:

Imposter syndrome is where someone has a difficult time accepting their accomplishments. It is where you as a person doubt yourself and what you are capable of. The name, "Fraud Syndrom" is also commonly used to describe imposter syndrome. People who have imposter syndrome tend to also have an unnatural fear of being exposed to others and tend to feel unsafe. They tend to not show as much leadership and are often terrified of being judged more than the average person without imposter syndrome would be.

I hope this helps!

Have a lovely day!

He pointed an angry finger at me.' (a) Litotes (b) Oxymoron (c) Transferred Epithet (d) Pun
earnstyle [38]

Answer:

(c) Transferred Epithet.

Explanation:

A transferred epithet is a figure of speech where the modifier (usually an adjective) is taken to modify other nouns in the sentence. In other words, a transferred epithet modifies a noun in a sentence other than the intended noun. This means that it describes a noun that was not initially supposed to modify.

In the given sentence <em>"he pointed an angry finger at me"</em>, the adjective "angry" was supposed to modify the pronoun "he". But with the placement of the word nearer to another noun "finger", it seems like it is describing the 'finger' rather than the person 'he'.

Thus, this sentence is an example of a transferred epithet.
