The reason behind the falling of price and quantity of ketchup sold is that the cost of mustard seeds decreases as mustard is a substitute of ketchup and for the input mustard seeds are produced. So, if the price of mustard seed decreases, the price of ketchup also decreases.

What is the ending inventory for period 8 when the MPS is 0 units?
KatRina [158]

Answer:

Ending inventory  = 64 units

Explanation:

Given:

Ending inventory for period 7 = 89 units

Forecast demand for period 7 = 120 units

Forecast demand for period 8 = 20 units

Customer order for period 8 = 25 units

MPS = 0 units

Computation:

Ending inventory = Ending inventory for last period + MPS - maximum from (Forecast demand for Current period ,Customer order for current  period)

Ending inventory  = 89 units + 0 - maximum from (20 , 25)

Ending inventory  = 89 units -25 units

Ending inventory  = 64 units

Each week, radio reaches about what percentage of all adults and teenagers? 94 percent, 91 percent
swat32

If each week radio reaches 94 percent of adults and 91 percent of teenagers, to get the average percentage it gets every week- with adults and teenagers, we have to add the two values and then divide them by two. So 94 + 91 is equal to 185 divided by 2 is 92.5% or 93%.

Niles Co. has the following data related to an item of inventory: Inventory, March 1 110 units @ $1.10 Purchase, March 7 210 uni
pantera1 [17]

Answer:

The value assigned to ending inventory if Niles uses "weighted average" is $320 ( to 160 units @ $2 )

Explanation:                  Number of units    Price per unit    Total

Purchases on March 1 =         110                     $1.10               $1,21

Purchases March 7      =         210                    $2.10              $441

Purchases March 16    =         110                     $2.70              $297

Inventory on March 31 =        160                    $2.00             $320

Weighted Average Inventory value = Accumulated Value / Total Number of units

Weighted Average Inventory value = ( 121 + 441 + 297 ) / ( 110 + 210 + 110 )

Weighted Average Inventory value = 1.997674419 = $2.00

LO 3.1A company’s product sells for $150 and has variable costs of $60 associated with the product. What is its contribution m
Pavel [41]

Answer:

$90

Explanation:

The formula and the computation of the contribution margin per unit are presented below:

Contribution margin per unit = Selling price per unit - variable cost per unit

                                               = $150 - $60

                                               = $90

If we deduct the variable cost per unit from the selling price per unit, then the contribution margin per unit can arrive

We only considered the selling price and the variable cost per unit
