It can be difficult to discuss life expectancy. This is especially true if there are issues like heart disease, cancer or other

chronic illnesses. Page 519 in your text has a life expectancy chart that you can complete. After completing this chart, you can choose to discuss your results. Be sure to address the following points:
a. Were you surprised by your life expectancy total?
b. Are there things you can do to improve your total?
c. What do you find more valuable: an increased life expectancy or an increase in quality of life? Why?

Answer:

a.) No, I was not surprised. Women have a higher life expectancy than men.

b.) Yes, there are some measures I can take to improve my total expectancy.

c.) An increase in quality of life is more valuable to me than an increased life expectancy. My reason for this is; an increased life expectancy does not actually guarantee a longer life. It is only an estimated figure. On the other hand, an increase in quality of life means a happier and more fulfilling life. I have more control over the latter than over the former.

Explanation:

Life expectancy is an estimated figure given to a person or group of persons of the time they are to live, based on certain parameters such as: the year of birth, age, gender e.t.c.

In other to improve your life expectancy, you should stay away from smoking, drinking and other unhealthy lifestyle.

Secondly, you should exercise regularly and eat healthy meals. Go for regular health checks and do things that make you happy.

stira [4]

Answer: changes in structure

Explanation:

Pauline Boss describes stress that occurs in families when a member is added or subtracted as normative stress due to changes in structure. Families continuously change structure over time due to births or adoptions, deaths, and marriages and this can create a shifting reality of who belongs to the family or not.

While some families handle this change in structure well, others cannot cope and may spiral into dysfunction.
